Our Mission
First Missionary Baptist Church of Coloma, MI. is a local visible assembly of modern day disciples of Jesus Christ. We are assembled in fellowship to give God glory through songs of praise, worship (communal prayer and Bible study) and our witness of the gospel to those who are lost, for the purpose of salvation and discipleship. We encourage those who believe and confess Jesus as Savior to follow His example of identifying with the Father’s will for their lives in the pictorial ordinance of Baptism by immersion in water. We teach and provoke the Body of Christ to grow in their love toward God by agreeing with His truth through obedience to His commands and good works as we see the second coming of our Savior approaching. We desire to show unconditional love to our brethren, like Christ has shown us, and to be a light of hope in this world of darkness and confusion by keeping ourselves unspotted from the world.
