Bro. Flynn Kettell is our current pastor. He comes to us from Glen Rose, Arkansas, where he was born and raised. Bro. Flynn was saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ in 1989 at the age of seventeen. He and his wife Melissa were married on October 19, 1991. They have four children: Amanda, Brandon, Clay, and Peyton.
Bro. Flynn and Melissa were both baptized upon profession of faith and added as members of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Glen Rose on January 24, 1999. Bro. Flynn served faithfully at Reyburn Creek MBC and surrendered to the call of God to the pastorate on February 8, 2015. He was ordained by God and Reyburn Creek MBC to his first pastorate at Bismark MBC in Bismarck, Arkansas, on January 10, 2016, where he served as pastor for three years. He then pastored Oak Grove MBC in Malvern, Arkansas, from which God called him to our church to serve as pastor in May of 2022.
He is an Undergraduate at the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock, Arkansas, from where he is currently finishing his Bachelors in Theology online and holds an Associate in Bible degree. “I am thankful for the loving church family the Lord has given us here in Coloma and am so excited to see where the Lord will lead us in the future. My goal is to continue to grow in Christ and help this church make disciples here in Coloma who will grow up in this assembly, go on to teach and edify others here, and follow Jesus unto the work the Lord has called them to do.”
